Cook Five Man Tender Boat (Alaska) 5.11
Mattsen Management is looking for a well qualified cook to work on board a commerical tender vessel. Cooking experience is a must and at sea experience is a plus.
Must have experience with large food orders and able to manage paperwork for ordering and inventory needs. There are approximately five people on board each vessel and the cook has no help.
Some of the duties include
-menu planning
-providing three meals a day, plus snacks
-galley and head cleaning
-laundry
-ordering and inventory
-all food prep. Basic baking skills is a major plus
Pay is based on experience and is a guaranteed daily rate or percentage - whichever is higher. There is a no tolerance policy onboard regarding drugs and alcohol, each employee is subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Job description: The chef will work with the lodge owners to refine a menu and further develop operations for elegant dining experience at the Highliner Lodge. The chef is responsible for all kitchen operations. Meals are provided for 6-20 guests and 4-6 employees daily. Kitchen staff includes 1 server and 1 dishwasher/prep person. You will prepare a wide variety of food items specializing in seafood, and be responsible for all food production for our organization. The Kitchen is open to the dining area to promote interaction between staff and guests. You must be very personable and capable of working well with these distractions. The kitchen will be kept clean and orderly at all times.
Requirements:
Must have exceptional culinary skills.
Must have good references and proven track record.
Must have good organizational and planning skills.
Must be able to cook creatively with available resources.
Must enjoy entertaining people and be able to work well with others
MUST be drug free and non/light drinker
